Mark Pera for Congress is proud to announce that Mark's candidacy has officially been endorsed by NARAL Pro-Choice America.
"NARAL Pro-Choice America is proud to support Mark Pera who represents the mainstream values of Illinois' Third District, said Julie Stitzel, deputy political director, Pro-Choice America.
"Unlike Dan Lipinski, who consistently shows just how out of the mainstream he is through his voting record and his inability to support common-sense measures, Pera is a strong advocate for a woman's freedom and privacy," Stitzel said.
For those of you who don't know, Mark's opponent - Congressman Dan Lipinski - has an atrocious voting record on issues involving reproductive rights.
He is opposed to a woman's right to choose even in instances involving rape or incest. In 2006, Congressman Dan Lipinski has received a zero rating from NARAL.
Pera said the endorsement is greatly appreciated.
"Choice is a very important issue in this campaign. Our campaign thanks NARAL for their support," he said.
